The Picture Conservation and Restoration Studios first launched in 1981 by Garve Hessenberg. We have since been commissioned to Restore and Conserve Works of Art all over the country. From Private Collections and Family Heirlooms to Royal Collections, we have recovered Works of Arts so that they can be enjoyed by future generations. We have over thirty years in the industry of Pricture Restorers and Art Conservation.
Past Commissions have included Restorations Projects on work by Van Dyke, Gainsborough, Sir Henri Raeburn, Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell. Customers and Patrons have included Clarence House, St James Palace, The Horse Guards, The Royal Military Police, the Foundation of Sir Hugh Casson LTD, Oxford University, Cambridge University and many Private Collectors and Owners.
The Studios now regularly collects work from across London and the South East of England with various Appointment Centres in these areas. We are an established family business with a Specialism in the field of Fine Art Conservation and Restoration.
